Genomic analysis of developmental pathways - Paul Bertone

The Bertone Group expect to offer one PhD position in the 2008/2009 selection round of the EMBL International PhD Programme.
Candidates with a solid background in computer science (algorithms and machine learning), mathematics (statistical and numerical analysis) or molecular biology will be considered. Projects will generally be conducted within the EBI and focus on human genomics with an emphasis on microarray data processing, large-scale sequence analysis and regulatory systems modeling. However, candidates with bench experience are welcome to apply, with a view to working in a joint experimental/computational setting in collaboration with one of the Cambridge-area laboratories with which we are affiliated.
